【IB課程的奇妙之旅】享概念之魅力,品探究之精髓| The Fantastic Brainstrom of IB PYP

緊張又興奮的開學月即將結束,WAIS(武漢澳洲國際學校)的所有教師在忙碌中馬不停蹄的又一次踏上IB課程的奇妙之旅。

Recalling from last brainstorm training of IB PYP in August, all teachers in WAIS are joining in this fantastic brainstrom of IB PYP again in the end of Septemper.



距上次培訓的一個月中,教師們沒有停下學習和探究的腳步,以IB PYP做為課程框架,制定出符合我校及所在地區特色的超學科及各學科主題探究課程圖。

All teachers do not stop learning after the last brainstorm. They made final version of curriculum mappings according with the characteristic of WAIS and the district.



PYP小學課程是一種概念驅動型課程,學生在各個探究單元中探索,以此將各學科緊密聯系在一起。資深培訓師引領教師們深入地理解如何制定超學科單元計劃及教學,幫助教師們實際操作,以每一年級一個主題為例制定一份單元計劃及教案。

PYP curriculum is a concept motivated curriculum, which will link all the subjects in the unit of inquiry. The trainer leads each teacher to understand how to make a transdisciplinary unit teaching plan, then helps teachers to practice.



除了書面課程及教學課程,評估課程也是本次培訓的一大重點。它對學生的學習及教師的教授具有不可或缺的重要性。資深培訓師豐富的經驗使一個個的案例鮮活起來,與教師們討論及分享各種評估策略。

Assessment is the key point except for written & taught curriculum. It plays an important role in discovering what students have learned and what teachers have to improve. The trainer shares various assessment strategies and cases with her abundant experiences.



經過這兩次的集中培訓,相信我們的教師一定能從資深顧問的指導中、合作的探究中、彼此的分享中收獲更多的啟示,為WAIS IB PYP課程的實施打下堅實的基礎。

All the teachers get inspiration with the guidance of the trainer, the cooperate preparation and the sharing , which lays the foundation for the implement of WAIS IB PYP.



接下來制定6大超學科主題單元計劃及教案、評估策略的任務任重道遠,但在知識的海洋里遨游又讓每位教師都充滿了好奇和激情。相信這也是IB課程的奇妙所在!

This fantastic brainstrom of IB will continue to expand the curiosity and passion in all the teachers.
