一年級IB探究|探索冬天的奧秘The First Year IB Explores the Mystery of Winter

如何將專業性內容轉變成學生易理解的知識性內容?武漢澳洲國際學校一直為此努力著,在最新一期的IB探究實踐中,師生們通過不同的形式,對“世界如何運作”有了深刻的理解。

How to transform professional content into knowledge content that students can easily understand? Wuhan Australian International School has been working hard for this purpose. In the latest IB exploration practice, teachers and students have a deeper understanding of "how the world works" through different forms.



根據這期探究主題“世界如何運作”,我們了解到四季的交替給這個世界帶來了怎樣的不同。同學們領略到了春夏秋冬的輪回;了解了不同季節的天氣、植物、農作物、食物;探究了為何會出現四季交替的現象。通過自己的五感去感受季節帶來的不同感覺。在探究動物冬眠時,知道了動物為何要冬眠,哪些動物會冬眠。

According to the theme "how the world works", we learn how the alternation of four seasons makes a difference to the world. Students have experienced the cycle of spring, summer, autumn and winter, understood the weather, plants, crops and food in different seasons, and explored why the four seasons alternate. The students have explored the different feelings of the season through their five senses. In researching the hibernation of animals, we learnt which animals will hibernate and why.


在這期間,同學們設計創作了關于四季的繪本。原本老師是想讓學生創作關于冬天的繪本,轉念一想:不能局限學生的思維,得把四季交給他們,他們各自都有各自喜歡的季節。在自己喜歡的季節里能有說不完的話,講不完的故事。

The students designed and created picture books about the four seasons. Originally, the teacher wanted the students to create picture books about winter, and then to extend students’ thinking, they were presented with the four seasons. They each had their own favorite season and wrote endless words and stories.


如何創作繪本呢?可千萬別小瞧一年級朋友們的創造力。

How do you create a picture book? Don't underestimate the creativity of first grade friends.


大家選定季節,了解了故事的三要素(時間、地點、人物),根據老師講解的“什么是繪本”,知曉繪本的基本構造,搭建屬于自己的故事。老師還會講述繪本,激發學生的創作靈感,豐富自己的繪本內容,然后在伙伴間互講自己的繪本,老師會在這期間給予孩子幫助:語文老師優化補充完整的句子,美術老師輔助繪本插圖,一起確定繪本標題,大家將自己的繪本裝訂成冊。

The students selected their season, understood the three elements of the story (time, place, characters), according to the basic structure of a picture book as explained by the teacher, and constructed their own story. The teacher shared picture books, stimulating students' creative imagination and then the students talked about their own picture books with their partners. During this period, the teachers guided the children: the Chinese teacher optimized complete sentences and the art teacher assisted with the picture book illustrations. They decided on the picture book title together, and everyone bound their picture books into a volume.



“制作繪本真不是一件容易簡單的事情??!”

“但是很有趣!”

積極探究著,努力創作著,勤于思考著,不斷學習著。在這一過程中,同學們的基礎知識早已浸潤進身體里:知曉故事的基本要素,探尋到編寫故事思考的方向,撰寫故事的整體內容,手繪故事的插圖,明白標題的主要特征,制作繪本封底封面.....

Actively exploring, creating, thinking and learning. In this process, the previous knowledge of the students included knowing the basic elements of the story. They explored the direction of thinking in writing the story, wrote the overall content of the story, drew the illustrations of the story by hand, understood the main features of the title and made the back cover of the picture book.



創作者沉浸在快樂的創作中,自己挑戰了多大的困難可能他們自己都不知道,留下的展現的,都是最珍貴的財富。有了第一次的創作,第二次、第三次的創作還擔心無法出現嗎?

The creators were immersed in their creations as they faced the challenge. With their first creation, were they thinking about the second and third creation?




走進大自然,探索冬天的奧秘,與其呆在教室里,看屬于別人的“世界”,不如身臨其境去探究屬于自己的世界。

Go into nature and explore the mystery of winter. Instead of staying in the classroom and looking at the "world" belonging to others, it's better to explore the world belonging to yourself.



我們在課堂中知道了四季的交替對于我們帶來的不同感受。這不,周五,陽光正好,老師帶著同學們一起走進大自然去探索四季輪回給植物帶來的不同變化。

We learned in class the different ways we are affected by the changes in the four seasons. On Friday the sun was just right. The teacher and the students walked into nature to explore the different changes brought by the four seasons.



將課堂搬至墻壁外的冬天,同學們用手去摸,用鼻子去聞,用眼睛去看,用腳輕輕踩,調動自己的五感用力的探索與感受冬季。

When the classroom was moved outside the students could touch “winter” with their hands, smell it with their nose, look it with their eyes, step on it with their feet, and engage their five senses to explore and feel winter.



“快看!銀杏葉真的是黃黃的耶~”

“這個綠綠的、細細的是什么樹?”

“鐵樹。摸一摸樹葉,什么感覺?”

“冰涼的,前面尖尖的,扎手?!?/p>

“這是什么花?”

“桂花?!?/p>

“桂花怎么會在冬天還有???”

“今年是個暖冬,桂花根據氣候、溫度來開花?!?/p>

“靠攏一點,與湖邊保持距離。安靜地聽王老師講講關于柳樹的故事?!?/p>

“看著眼前這一排排柳樹,畫一畫柳樹吧!”

"Look! Ginkgo leaves are really yellow

"What is this green, thin tree?"

"Iron tree. What does it feel like to touch the leaves? "

"It's cold. It's sharp in the front. Tie your hand."

"What flower is it?"

"Osmanthus."

"How can osmanthus still exist in winter?"

"It's a warm winter this year. Osmanthus blooms according to the climate and temperature."

"Get closer and keep a distance from the lake. Listen to Miss Wang quietly about the willows. "

"Look at the row of willows and draw a picture of them!"



“我發現三葉草了!”安靜中一聲興奮的叫聲,大家都攏過去一探究竟。不一會兒一人一朵三葉草高興的拿在手里,輕柔的放進探究袋。

"I found a clover!" There was an excited cry in the silence, and everyone gathered to find out. After a while, one by one a clover was happily placed in his hand and was gently put into the inquiry bag.



“張老師,你看,我的袋子里有這么多?!薄皬埨蠋?,銀杏葉,你要嗎?”“張老師,這是鐵樹葉,會扎手,你摸一下?!?/p>

"Miss Zhang, look, there are so many in my bag." "Miss Zhang, ginkgo leaf, do you want it?" "Miss Zhang, this is iron leaf. You can tie your hand. Touch it."



歡聲笑語中,同學們積極探究著,尋覓著,學習不就是這么一件有趣而自然的事情嗎?

In the laughter, the students were actively exploring and searching. Isn't learning such an interesting and natural thing?
